This item is just if anyone would like to contribute to the cleanup efforts on my beach cleanup trip.
Here are some of my cleanup related expense:

Checked bag both ways (bringing scissors & knives suitable for cutting line and bringing back items that can be upcycled)

Gas to drive to and from the more remote beaches on the island
I anticipate removing a few hundred pounds of trash from the beaches while I am there. Unfortunately they can only burn trash on the island but that is comparably better than decaying in the salt and sun to become microplastics and/or entangling and otherwise threatening the wellness of the wildlife on land and sea.
I will be offline the duration of my trip but plan to post a comprehensive rundown of my process and experience when I return.
